About Me

My name is Connie.  I'm an identical twin, a mother of three and a grandmother of 5, diagnosed with breast cancer in May, 2011. Chemo starts on July 28, 2011.  It's taken two months to get to here and along the way I've had LOTS of laughter, some fear (I won't lie) and a WHOLE lot of support.  There have been blessings, too. LOTS of blessings.  I am very grateful for the lessons I've learned so far, the friends I've made, my family, and the moments of laughter that raised my spirits.  If you got to my blog because you're diagnosed with breast cancer, I hope you find it hopeful and helpful.
